Abstract
The construction, parameters and measurement results of antenna array for S-band have been presented in the paper. The antenna works in 400 MHz frequency band, centered in 3 GHz. It is destiny for small SAR radar applications. The array consists of 12 half-wave dipoles, configured in three rows with four elements in each. The antenna structure in dual-conductors line technique was made, based on standard FR4 substrate. For increasing directivity, the flat reflector has been used. The antenna has moderate directional parameters and high sidelobe suppression. For decrease sidelobe levels, the amplitude weighting in both planes has been used. Array works with inphase dipoles exciting. Dedicated signal distribution and matching network was designed.
