  • Abstract
    Welcome to the 32nd Electrical Insulation Conference (EIC) sponsored by the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS). We are meeting this year in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I hope you will be able to avail yourselves of some of the fine features of this city in addition to fulfilling the primary purpose of our meeting which is the dissemination of technical information relating to electrical insulation. This year we received over 215 abstracts from a worldwide collection of authors and after much work the technical committee has produced a program offering 72 oral presentations and 28 poster presentations. All areas of technical interest to our membership are represented. Please make sure to join us for the Sunday evening opening reception which includes the poster sessions.
