Abstract :
Unfortunately, nanotoxicology studies have generally lagged behind the advances in nanotechnology and risks associated with nanosized materials are undefined in most of the cases. The unique health hazards are attributed to nanoparticles since their size is comparable to human cells. The result of that is that the human immune system may not work against them. The goal of this review is to provide information about health and environmental aspects and possible harmful effects, when dealing with nanoparticles. It is important to exercise caution when using new materials and fully evaluating potential health and environment risks and hazards are paramount.
