Abstract :
Prepared the method of induction melting by using two kinds of carbon content Fe-20%Cu alloy material and having TIG welding, analyze Fe-20%Cu alloy welded organizational change and performance characteristics. TIG welding test results show that the texture of base metal, heat affected zone and melting zone of carbon content of 0.017% Fe-20%Cu material is ferrite and the mesh Cu. But the grains in the melting zone are smaller. The base metal of carbon content of 0.360% of Fe-20%Cu material and cast structure are the same. They both are ferrite, pearlite and island Cu. And the structure of heat affected zone and melting zone is ferrite, pearlite, acicular martensite and Cu. The grains in the melting zone are smaller. After welding, the hardness of melting zone is highest followed by heating zone, then the matrix.
