Abstract :
Multi-input Multi-output (MIMO) radar has drawn considerable attention in recent years. The waveform design has the most important influence on the performance of MIMO radar, thus having been an active area of research. In this paper, the orthogonal signals generated from OFDM signals are proposed in the application of uniform linear array (ULA) MIMO radar. Matched filters are applied at the receiver part to separate the reflected echo signals and demonstrate the orthogonality feature of the proposed I-OFDM signals. Numerical simulation results are proposed to prove that the generated signal set is suitable for MIMO radar.
