Abstract :
The CLEAN algorithm is a widespread deconvolution method which is well suited for detecting frequency components in a signal. Originally developed to deconvolve images of the sky, over the years quite a lot of variants have been published which adapt the CLEAN algorithm to the demands of several fields of engineering. In this paper, we present Cluster CLEAN as enhancement to the CLEAN algorithm and show its application to measurement data collected with a linearly frequency-modulated continuous-wave radar system.
