Abstract :
Signal processing algorithm for radar and radiometer is proposed for retrieval of water content profile of clouds. The procedure of signal processing is described and results of numerical simulation of brightness temperature are presented for 3.2 cm wavelengths. The study is performed for different cloud thickness and various types of water content profiles. Also preliminary results of experimental measurements of water content profile based on proposed algorithm are presented.
