Abstract :
This paper proposes a general framework to design operation modes of decentralized controlled DC microgrids without communication links. Under this framework, power units of the DC microgrid are firstly classified into several types according to their physical features. Then, a utilization priority of different types of units is determined by certain economic index, in order to achieve good economic performance. Autonomous transitions among these operation modes are realized based on DC bus voltage variation. The method is validated by MATLAB/Simulink simulations as a case study.
