Abstract :
This paper introduces the undergraduate and graduate program in power electronics engineering at Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU).The curriculum in this area has been designed and developed for specifically educational goals. Unique feature of the program is the application of power electronics in railway and renewable energy area. The curriculum is supported by case studies, design problems, plant visits. This paper also reviews the activities of the power electronics area graduate and research programs.
