Abstract :
Some place requires for highly power supply reliability, common feeder automation solution can´t meet the requirements, so, we need to restudy the feeder automation solution. This paper involves the FA scheme based on fault status differential protection, by using optical fiber communication to achieve the selectivity of protection, fault location, isolation, power recovery. Finally, through the analysis of a system fault conditions in open-loop and closed-loop operation, the result shows that system could remove fault quickly one-time, breakers no need reclose more times, the impact on the system and power distribution equipment is reduced, non-fault section no need power cutting, greatly improving the quality of power supply.
