Abstract :
Presents a new algorithm of thyristor on-state loss, IEEE Std 1031-2011 recommended thyristor on-state loss calculation formula sing thyristor voltage drop of the linearized model, error is large. Literature [2] proposed a more accurate thyristor voltage drop model, New algorithm takes advantage of the literature [2 ] proposed model to calculate the thyristor on-state losse. And the simulation results proves that the new Algorithm for On-state Loss of Thyristor Valve is better than the IEEE Std 1031-2011 recommended calculation.
