Abstract :
With the rapid development of electric power information technology, has been expanding its business system, the investment cost is rising, at the same time, due to the busy business application widespread idle cycles, lead to equipment use efficiency is not high. Virtualization technology can effectively improve equipment load rate, saving the cost of investment and data center energy consumption and reduce data center space, improve the work efficiency of maintenance personnel. This paper introduces the application of virtualization technology in the electric power data center, through the data center virtualization solutions, such as reduce the number of servers, optimization of resource utilization, so as to reduce costs, to achieve rapid response such as business needs change, for the realization of the data center automation and business continuity to provide necessary basis.
