Abstract :
With the rapid development of urban rail transit in China, it is greatly significant to deeply study the interaction effect between urban power distribution system (UPDS) and urban rail transit traction power supply system (URTTPSS). At first, this paper introduces the research background and significance of URTT PSS modeling and simulation in power distribution system. Secondly, based on PSCAD software, it presents a modeling scheme for URTTPSS from eight aspects which contain external power supply system, main step-down substation, ring network cable, traction substation, traction load, catenaries, return line and filter. Finally, a method for calculating traction line inductance is given according to the three indicators including internal inductance, external inductance and total inductance, which lays the foundation for the modeling and simulation research of Guiyang URTTPSS in the next phase.
