Abstract :
Smart distribution grid with self-healing function can reduce the power outage time, and improve the power supply reliability effectively. Distribution automation system (DAS) provides a possible application for distribution grid self-healing. DAS can automatically isolate the fault, restore the power supply of non-fault section, reduce the power outage time effectively, and realize the distribution grid self-healing. This paper introduces the principle and control strategy of self-healing function of DAS in Ji´nan distribution grid. Through the comparison of two actual case of a 10kV line pre and post intelligent upgrade, it is proved that the proposed strategy is effective and the distribution self-healing is necessary.
