Abstract :
With the extensive use of nonlinear elements in the power system, the harmonics generated by nonlinear elements cause the voltage and current waveform distortion and it has been a threat to the power system and other equipments. A fresh idea is proposed in this paper that there is not a balance circuit in power system that includes nonlinear elements . This idea is presented by analyzing sequence circuits of harmonics in three phase power systems. This paper makes generating and harm of harmonics as starting point and summarizes the various measures of harmonic control in harmonic study fields, it can provide effective reference to harmonic control.
