  • Abstract
    As the revolution of power market, the condition of energy and environment has become serious. It is an urgent problem on how to built a reasonable model of reserve markets. This paper describe the reserves market briefly, and then construct the model of co-optimization of energy and reserves as implemented in reserve markets. In this mode, it is discussed the reserves of generators in the condition of heavy load and light load for all interfaces in the grid, while texting with the penetration of wind power the change of reserve market. As results of them, the way to optimization of energy requirement and demand of reserves is presented. In this way, the social benefit could be maximized and the over capacities of reserves and insufficient of compensation would be improved. Lastly, it is reasonable for power market to dispatch and optimize unified. The co-optimization of energy and reserves play a positive role power system stability and social benefits to proof the advancement of the model.
