Abstract :
Due to the widespread use of the intelligent household appliances, abnormal working events of sensitive household appliances caused by power quality problems are increasing. Power quality problems include voltage sag,voltage interruption,three-phase voltage unbalance,harmonic,voltage fluctuation and flicker,frequency deviation and so on; abnormal working situations caused by supply harmonic become more common. Sensitive household appliances immunity against power quality are tested and researched; and thus the working characteristics of sensitive household appliances are better understood. The IH intelligent rice cooker is tested with harmonics set by programmable power supply. The experimental phenomenon is observed; the waveforms and data are record by power quality analyzer and recorder. Compared with the normal working characteristic, the experimental results show that IH intelligent rice cooker is affected by the supply voltage harmonics.
