  • Abstract
    In this paper, the flexible DC power distribution technology was presented to solve serious problems in Shenzhen urban power distribution networks, such as power quality control, distributed power generation connecting the power grid, DC loads power supply and power-line capacity expansion. The advantages of flexible DC power distribution technology were analysed. The research structure of DC distribution energy management, control strategy, protection technology and reliability evaluation were presented, and the key points of them were concerned. Finally, Based on the present station of AC power distribution networks, distributed power generation, power load and power storage in the Shenzhen Baolong industrial city, a flexible DC distribution network Demonstration project program was presented, including power Network Topology and operation modes.
