Abstract :
To mitigate the inter-carrier interference (ICI) under doubly selective channels, we in this paper propose an optimal parameters-hybrid carrier modulation (OP-HCM) system with the discrete partial FFT (DPFFT) demodulation. The interests stem from the superiority of HCM system with the partial FFT demodulation on suppressing the ICI under doubly selective channels. However, the optimal parameters (i.e., the division number and modulation order) of HCM system with DPFFT demodulation, which may impact the performance of HCM system, have been not found for now. In this paper, we will provide a method to find the optimal parameters for HCM system with DPFFT demodulation, that is the OP-HCM system with DPFFT demodulation. It can be demonstrated from the numerical simulation that, the OP-HCM system with DPFFT demodulation will perform better than HCM system with DPFFT demodulation of the non-optimal parameters in most regimes of interest.
