Abstract :
This paper reports effect of component of liquid sample on sterilization of E. coli by high electric field pulse. We applied -4.4 [kV] pulse voltage to aqueous solution with E. coli changing component of aqueous solution. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The survival rate of E. coli decreases with increase of concentration of NaCl in aqueous solution. 2. The effect of Tryptone and Yeast Extract in aqueous solution on the survival rate of E. coli does not recognize.
