Abstract :
In this paper, we are interested in a hybrid network composed of satellite networks and terrestrial mobile networks. One of the benefits of using satellite broadcast channels is to enable information delivery in dynamic, mobile, and multimedia domains. Several routing algorithms have been developed for single layer satellite networks in recent years. The performance of the satellite networks can be improved significantly if multilayered satellite constellations are used in the architecture. A guaranteed delivery routing algorithm (QRST) is developed that makes terrestrial mobile networks greedy forwarding based the location information obtained by a novel location service algorithm. Bypassing the local minimum is done by an architecture of Complex-Quadtree, which can significantly improve hop stretch and load balancing. The performance of QRST is evaluated through analysis.
