Abstract :
Hybrid content delivery networks are aimed at creation of high-effective Internet based system for content´s storage and distribution by integration of two different concepts: Content Delivery Networks (CDN) and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) networks. The paper proposes flow-based linear model for optimal resource management in HCDN. The model allows to solve object placement problem, request routing problem and conventional routing in telecommunication network jointly. According to numerical results a new three-layered hierarchical method for resource management in HCDN has been proposed. Novelty is related to implementation of different optimality criteria on different control levels.
