Abstract :
This paper presents a patch type of FSS (Frequency Selective Surface) structure EBG (Electromagnetic Band-Gap) antenna which is used to feed a reflector antenna for a space multi-beam application in Ka band. Study on the performance of single beam, and achieve seamless coverage Chinese land by using 31 1.12°-diameter spots. At last calculated the worst C/I ratio of 4×reuse scheme and 7×reuse scheme, 12dB and 16dB respectively. This paper provides a design ideal for the future satellite miniaturization.
