Abstract :
A novel compact four bands antenna with coplanar waveguide feed is proposed for satisfying GSM, WLAN and WIMAX. Based on the triangle planar patch element, two different slots were embedded. The simulation of the antenna is performed by using software Ansoft HFSS and the results present that the number of multiband, the central of frequency and bandwidth can be controlled by the dimensions of the slots, as well as the size of the rectangle patch. Finally, A multi-band patch antenna with bands (1.69~1.85GHz, 2.2~2.96GHz, 3.39~3.84GHz, 5.14~7.28GHz) has been designed, through measurement.
