Abstract :
A broadband dual-polarization antenna element is presented in this paper. It contains four square-loop radiator dipoles and the quarter-wavelength balun. The antenna achieve a common impedance bandwidth of 1.54GHz-2.5GHz(S11<;-10dB) at the input port, it has good performance in the isolation, which is more than 28.7dB, the gain of the antenna is above 8.2dB. In the entire operating frequency, the simulated half-power beamwidth in E-planes and H-planes is more than 58°. The dual-polarization antenna has a strongpoint of enhancing the channel capacity.
