Abstract :
An 18-element longitudinally-slotted waveguide array antenna at 24.125 GHz with a compact transverse dimension is presented which is used for speed radar. Taylor synthesis method is employed to obtain lower side-lobe. In consideration of machining and operation, this antenna adopts Coaxial-Waveguide Transition to feed. The slot resonance lengths are optimized and adjusted with the help of parametric analysis function in simulation software. The processing of the various parameters of the antenna can achieve the desired targets that the main-side lobe suppression is able to be above 25 dB.
