Abstract :
To achieve the miniaturization for linear polarized Wi-Fi base station antenna, and ensure the operating band cover 2.4~2.5 GHz at the same time, this paper improved ordinary inverted-F antenna to radiate circular polarized waves. And by arranging four improved inverted-F antennas into a 1×4 array with different directions, the composite antenna obtains good impedance and radiation characteristics. Simulation results indicate that the proposed antenna get a satisfying bandwidth in 2.25~2.55 GHz (reflection coefficient is less than -10 dB). This paper offers a novel way to design linear polarized antenna, and it will be a fairly strong point in practical applications for Wi-Fi base stations.
