Abstract :
Resistive Loading between the elements of an antenna array is presented for the reduction of the reflected signals. The principle of the loading method is illustrated by a circular array of bow-tie antennas with discrete resistors loading. The reflected signal for the loaded circular array has been significantly diminished compared with the unloaded array. Either the discrete resistors or the continuous resistive films can be used in the proposed loading method. The proposed method can be used in the design of ultra-wideband and electronically small antenna array.
