  • Abstract
In this paper, a reflectarray antenna working for C-band, which is composed of two typical elements, is proposed and analyzed. The full wave analysis results show that it can achieve a good bandwidth of 16 percent and radiated efficiency of 36 percent by adjusting the size of the alternative elements. The phase-shift range could obtain over 360 degree attainable by combining the two curves of phase-against-size at a certain reflected phase. Furthermore, a new method of generating double beams with a single feed is presented and demonstrated. And, a double-beam reflectarray formed by abovementioned hybrid-element is designed and simulated. The performance of the antenna, such as maximum gain, side lobe levels, polarization and radiated efficiency are presented as well.
