Abstract :
Contractors and their employees, who work on host facilities, as well as on new construction sites, must understand the hazards of electricity, along with the regulations and standards for the electrical safety requirements, procedures, and responsibilities that pertain to their respective job assignments. The requirements for safe work practices for working near exposed energized circuits, equipment, and overhead power lines, and the required personal protective equipment are addressed in this paper.
