Abstract :
This paper explains how to supervise the transfer of an important load bus from one incoming source to another incoming source in less than one-half cycle. This supervision is required for large-scale industrial processes such as petroleum refineries and paper mills. This paper discusses the current and voltage calculations and transformations, fault calculations and analysis, and power metering equations pertaining to the high speed supervision of bus transfer.
