Abstract :
The active space mapping algorithm was introduced to design a parallel coupled microstrip filter with HFSS and ADS in this paper. The simulation accuracy in Ka band or higher frequency is rough for ADS. We combined the fast optimization characteristics of ADS and excellent simulation accuracy of HFSS to achieve a design with timeliness and accuracy. Results showed that active space mapping algorithm is time-saving and convenient in electromagnetic simulation.
