Abstract :
This paper proposed an easier but effective method to realize a tunable 2.4GHz lumped phase shifter employing varactor diode. This method is a revised type of lumped composite right/left handed transmission line(CLRH TL). A practical design using this method was then presented and averred by numeric simulation. The design showed that the tuning can be accomplished by changing one single voltage, which is quite convenient for controlling, and the parasitic inductor of varactor was also handled clever to reduce the complexity.
