Abstract :
This paper presents the simulation analysis of electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS) for a 32-Bit digital signal controllers (DSCs). The electromagnetic susceptibility model of the DSCs for conducted immunity, built upon the conducted disturbances sources, passive distribution network and the immunity behaviour of the internal functions, is used to predict the EMS of the chip levels. The immunity behaviour of the internal digital core, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and general-purpose input or output (GPIO) have been analyzed by circuital simulations according to the predictive SPICE model. The results show an excellent fit with model predictions.
