  • Abstract
    In this paper, proposed a design and implementation of FM (frequency modulation) based electronic digital stethoscope using DSP that integrate FM transmitter and receiver circuit, audio amplifier, woofer, TMS320c5515. The developed circuit is interfaced with PC and obtained heart beat waveform using Thinklabs Phonocardiography software. The device of prototype utilizes an acoustic stethoscope and electret condenser microphone. Output of woofer goes to PC by using male to male connector and it can record and save it in. WAVE and mp3 file. The paper aims in designing and development the aforementioned device that aids the doctor in monitoring the patient details from a remote place. Using this device patient can save his heart beat and send to doctor for analysis.
