Abstract
This paper presents a design for loss of signal detection between synchro and Synchro-to-Digital-Converter. The loss of signal over the rotor and stator terminals of synchro is indicated by Light Emitting Diodes (LED). The proposed technique performs the generation of zero crossing outputs for the corresponding rotor and stator signals of the synchro. The monoshots takes these zero crossing signals as data inputs and outputs low or high based on the availability of the signal. The design implementation and simulation results are described.
