Abstract :
This article presents an estimation of the impact of distributed energy resources (DER) on the electrical network power losses. Using novel quasi-dynamic analytical approach the contribution of the distributed generation (DG) to the network power losses is estimated. Slow dynamics simulations are performed on differently controlled DG in order to clarify the importance and the impact of different DG voltage and power control strategies.
