Abstract :
This paper presents a smart driving direction system using the experience of taxi drivers. In this system, GPS-enabled phones are used for collecting the data´s from the road environment. Here, the backbone of the proposed system is Weighted Query Results Based on Ranking of Trusted Data algorithm. The project will have a smart phone version and a web interface. All the centralized database management and administrator privileged actions will be in a live web server and the client side application will be an Android application which will be downloadable and installable on any authenticated Android device across the globe. The application will have functionalities for users to register and signup both in the web portal and the mobile application, for free. Registered users will be able to add/edit and manage all sorts of traffic based events which they encounter day by day. Users will be able to set their update preferences so as to get updates from the application.
