Abstract :
In the paper a new control method for the five-level cascaded inverter is presented. The proposed control method allows full regulation of energy collection from a particular DC voltage source. Application of the cascaded inverter with the proposed control brings many benefits to the DC/AC energy conversion with several DC sources. These benefits are: reduction of the emission of electromagnetic disturbances, an increase in the efficiency and power quality at the output of the inverter.
