Abstract :
This work discusses performance indices associated with distributed photovoltaic generation. It is suggested that expressing the indices as monetary values can simplify interaction of distribution engineers with consumers that install their own generation. Two voltage profile indices are studied and a probabilistic power flow is used in order to observe the evolution of these indices during a day. Simulations results for a typical feeder of a Brazilian distribution utility, that consider the influence of generator location and load pattern, are presented.
