Abstract :
We previously proposed a model-following-controlled pulse width modulation (MFC PWM) inverter that exhibits robustness. The proposed inverter can output a sine wave current regardless of the rippling DC link voltage. This paper presents a numerical simulation analysis of the transient characteristics of the discrete-time MFC PWM inverter for a wind turbine generator system with a synchronized grid interface. As a result, the three-phase line currents can be controlled quickly to the new steady state.
