Abstract :
In this paper, a new system is proposed which is composed of hydrogen generator and wind power generator. As output from wind generators fluctuate so much due to wind speed variations, it can have significant negative impact on the power system operation when it is input into power system without any control. The purpose of the proposed system is to supply stable power to the power system while hydrogen is produced by using some part of the wind generator output. In the proposed system, wind generator is composed of squirrel cage induction generator (IG) and hydrogen generator is composed of High-purity Hydrogen Oxygen Generator (HHOG). The performance of the proposed system is investigated by simulation analyses, in which simulations are performed by using PSCAD/EMTDC.
