Abstract :
The main purpose of this study is to propose an integrated conceptual model for exploring knowledge management process. Reviewing literature on knowledge management and tracing its historical background, definitions and dominant paradigms and analysis 32 frameworks of KM, a relatively integrated model of KM was presented in this paper. The study found many similarities of models and its presents a model which combine all the best features of the models analyzed. A 10-stage integrated model was proposed. These stages include some activities such as knowledge goal setting, identification, acquisition, creation, organization, sharing, evaluation, preservation, retention and updating and KM effectiveness evaluation. The findings can be used by managers in all organizational environments to implementation and auditing of KM practices.
