  • Abstract
    It is an important application domain to supply passive network such as the offshore drilling platform by MMC-HVDC system, flexible HVDC system mathematical model based on modular multilevel converter established under dq coordinate system, design of the controller to supply power to passive network system. Rectifier side adopts Udc/Q control, inverter side uses V/f control. In PSCAD/EMTDC simulation environment CNOOC MMC-HVDC system model was established to verify the advantages of MMC-HVDC power supply used for offshore platform.
