Abstract :
Severe disturbance screening is of great significance for evaluation methods in Dynamic Security Assessment (DSA) to rank the severity of all the potential contingencies of the system operators´ concern. While traditional methods only focus on one kind of power system stability, either angle stability or voltage stability, which are not yet adequate for nowadays comprehensive dynamic security assessment of large-scare inter-connected power system. This paper firstly established three kinds of performance criterion, quantitatively analyzing the transient energy impact, the rotor angle state and parameters´ deviation respectively. Then a multi-attributes measurement theory was introduced to achieve a comprehensive evaluation. At Last, the effectiveness of the proposed measurement method was demonstrated by simulations on a real power system in China.
