Abstract :
In this paper we propose and study a power-saving algorithm for static indoor M2M nodes that takes to consideration the problem of changing coverage level. The studies show, that this algorithm can provide nodes from spending significant amount of energy while keeping the quality of service and a chance of successful transmission high, which suits good for such M2M statistical gathering nodes as smart meters.
