Abstract :
Grid-connected operation of Photovoltaic power generation and wind power generation is the effective approach to achieve the large-scale development and utilization of solar energy source and wind energy source. On account of fluctuation and discontinuity of solar energy and wind energy, large-scale output power fluctuation will adversely affect the connected grid balance between supply and demand. Based on the established PV plant steady-state model, combined with the clustering wind farms of certain provincial power grid, this paper established the clustering PV-wind joint power generation system. Through analysis of the continuous output characteristics, this paper assessed the output power fluctuation characteristics of the clustering PV-wind joint power generation system and uncovered its "clustering effect". The example shows that compared with clustering wind farms and PV plants alone, output power of the clustering PV-wind joint power generation system is steadier, and presents more obvious "clustering effect". Based on the proposed assessment indices, this paper presented the reasonable interval of capacity scale between PV power and wind power of the clustering PV-wind joint power generation system.
