Abstract :
With the power grid developing towards high voltage, long distance, large capacity, area interconnection and deregulation, the blackout accidents are followed by more and more enormous losses. In 2013, power grid failures in Mudanjiang region caused the year-round supply reliability rate falling 0.0069% year on year. Those failures caused no small loss of economic and social development in Mudanjiang region. It´s urgent to improve its power grid reliability, so that the probability of failure can be reduced. Based on VC++ Language, this article models and debugs the Mudanjiang regional power grid and then develops the grid reliability algorithm using Monte Carlo simulation. It calculates the reliability index of the Mudanjiang regional power grid in diffident operating modes so that draws the conclusion of the Mudanjiang regional power grid reliability. And then the reliability weak nodes in Mudanjiang regional power grid are found by calculating the reliability index of the important nodes in the grid. Through analyzing the network structure, it proposes some improvement measures to improve grid reliability. The effectiveness of these measures is verified after adding those measures to the model.
