Abstract :
This paper analyzes a interleaver size and its complexity of 2D block code, which consists of vertical raptor-like rate-compatible LDPC code and horizontal Reed Solomon (RS) code. An adequate size of 2D interleaver should be reasonably chosen by considering not only the performance and user satisfaction, but also the required memory size at a receiver side.
