Abstract :
We experimentally demonstrate the interconnect test of optical sampling and quantization for optical analog-to-digital conversion. We generate 10-GSamples/s optical sampled signals using four-wave mixing (FWM) and connect these signals to an optical quantization system based on soliton self-frequency shift (SSFS) in experiment. The potential of this system is estimated to 5.08-bit resolution capability in simulation.
